Something we take great pride in here at VizVibe is that when you contact us to help create your dream project, you then become our partner. The VizVibe team will still consider you our partner even after your custom project has been completed! With this being said, our team is excited to announce that our “partnership” with the Wilkes-Barre City Health Department in creating the Wilkes-Barre Walkitecture App has been recognized by the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office and been awarded the Community Initiative Award!
The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department contacted VizVibe with the hope of making their idea of an app that incorporates the promotion of active living merged with the incredible history of their city a reality. With these ideas the Wilkes-Barre Walkitecture app was born! After having deep discussions of ideas, content and visuals, The VizVibe & Wilkes-Barre City teams dove into the creation process. VizVibe got busy working on the design, development and everything in between while the Wilkes-Barré Preservation Society shared their gallery of Wilkes-Barre’s history, which included beautiful photographs and building history stories.
One of our mission’s here at VizVibe is to help enhance education. Our team loves working with Wilkes-Barre City in creating apps for not only their town but also in providing web-apps for their school(s)! VizVibe is proud to say we helped bring such an incredible idea to life!
A special Thank You goes out to the Former City Health Director Hank Radulski for bringing this idea to the table, Matt Engel who is the City Health Educator for managing the content we received, David Yonki- Health Educator Project Manager for all of his assistance and lastly another massive thank you to anyone who helped behind the scenes during the gathering and creating process!
